Author, Educator, and International consultant, Lorraine works with a wide range of organisations both in the UK and abroad to develop toolkits for supporting the development of essential life skills and a can-do mindset in children from early years.
She has had a long term commitment with the Women and Work Foundation developing and rolling out an Enterprising and Life Skills programme for young learners in South Africa. For the last two years Lorraine has worked with the Bright Start Foundation in UAE, delivering workshops to families and educators, and supporting the launch of the first Excellence in Early Years conference for UAE and the MENA regions, taking place in Abu Dhabi in November 2019.
Lorraine is also Founder and Director of Enterprising Child Ltd, overseeing the strategic development and growth of the company.
Lorraine’s years of experience has led her to speak at a wide variety of events across the UK and abroad delivering key notes, workshops, and ‘in conversation with’ sessions, as well as fun, interactive sessions with children and families. These have included Toytopia in Liverpool, The National Education Show in Birmingham, Alexandra Palace Mums Show Live, The National Fiver Awards Ceremony, London, The Royal Geographical Society, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, and UAE family centres.
